All students should spend a year  studying abroad

Nowadays languages are really important, so we think that one of the best ways to learn  is studying abroad. Some of the most popular countries which people choose to live abroad are USA, England or Ireland.

Some of the advantages of studying abroad is that it provides the opportunity to travel, because it's the best option for knowing different contries and people. Furthermore, studying abroad allows you to know better other cultures, because when you go to other places you don't have just to learn the language, but also you learn about their customs, habits, foods, etc. Besides, this experience makes you more independent  and helps you to learn about yourself. Another advantage is that it will help you  develop your skills, because you have to learn how to cook or do the housework.

To sump up, we would like to say that we think this is an oportunity you can't miss. It is an incredible experience and all students should live it at least once in their lives.

My favourite place:

Rome, the capital of Italy, it's a special and unique town which is located in the centre of this country. It is one of the most touristic cities and most visited of Europe because of his huge artistic heritage, in addition it's  a very popular town due to walking along their streets is like strolling in the ancient Rome.

One of the reason why we love this city it's because you never get bored, you can work out several activities like going to the Coliseum, where you will get astonished, or to the Fontana di Trevi and flip  a coin in it, moreover it's a very addictive city because you will want to see everything. Another of the best things of Rome it's its excelent gastronomy also you can't go away without tasting any of the amazing dishes of  pasta.

To sump up if you go to Italy it's worth going to Rome, personally we believe it's better going in spring or summer because the city looks more alive as a result of its crowded streets and its good weather.

Telling a story

A few years ago when I was twelve years old I broke my arm. It happened the day before of our end of year trip, that’s the reason why I had to stay at home while my friends were having fun in the trip.

Everything happened when I was in my way to the cinema to hang out with my friends. As usual we took our bikes to go faster. Until here everything was ok, the problem arrived when one of my friends dared me to go down a hill as fast as I can. I accepted without doubt. I was wining when I lost the control of my bike and I fell down. The next thing I remember is waking up in a hospital with my arm in plaster cast and a bandage on my head. I also remember my mother hugging me while she was crying, but  her happiness didn’t last very much, because as soon as I started to talk she began to cry out to me told me off for being such an irresponsible person.

This is the reason why I have never taken my bike since that terrible day.

DESCRIPTION

We are going to describe our friend Carmen Cañestro. She is sixteen years old and she was born in Málaga.

She is good-looking and  short, her hair is straight, light and  brown, and her eye colour is green, they are very beautiful. She is always smiling, and after a few years wearing  tooth brace her smile is perfect. She has a chubby-cheeked face and rosy cheeks, beside her noise isn´t a flat nose but neither a lopsided.

She is very funny and joker and you never get bored with her. Carmen is really outgoing that's the reason why she has a lot of friends because she is very sociable. However she is shy and she always goes red when she gets embarrassed. She isn’t rude, arrogant and posh. In fact she is one of the most honest and nice person that I’ve ever known.

Carmen is a trendy person because she loves fashion, also she loves singing and playing the guitar.

All in all we’re glad to have Carmen like our friend and sure that this friendship is going to be forever.

Hi!  my name is Maria Aranzazu, I’m 16 years old. I’m from Fuerteventura, one of the most beautiful islands of Canarias, but I have been living in Málaga since I was eight years old. I live with my parents, my little sister and my dog Snoopy, I love animals and in the future I would like to be a vet.

I love travelling, and one of my dreams is being able to travel around the world. I think it is an opportunity to discover new cultures.  Do you like travelling?

My favorite sports are basketball and volleyball, when I was young I used to play basketball in my school’s team, but we never won, that’s why a friend suggested me to sign up in her volleyball’s team. But… we didn’t achieve anything. At the end I decided to join art classes.

Anyway if you want to know me well, you should know I’m not into swimming  and fencing, I hate clowns, so I never go to the circus and I can’t stand the rain and cats.
